Friends Update - August 2018

Friends success at Sheep Fair

The Friends of Findon Church volunteers worked hard managing the refreshments tent at the Sheep Fair on September 9th. The fine weather attracted around 6,500 visitors to this year's event which kept the volunteers busy. Please click here to see just how successful the day was.








FRIENDS OF ST JOHN THE BAPTIST CHURCH, FINDON is a charity and it has been entered onto the Register of Charities with the Registered Charity Number 1183075.


The Friends of St John the Baptist Church Findon is a charitable trust which supports the restoration, preservation, repair, maintenance and improvement of Findon Church.

This includes the monunents, fittings, fixtures, stained glass, furniture, ornaments and chattels in the church and of the churchyard.

Our only goal is to secure the long-term existence of the church and its property for the enjoyment of future generations.

How You Can Help


  • You can become a Friend of Findon Church yourself. 
    Become a member from as little as £10 per annum per household.  More Info
  • You can leave a legacy
    Support the work needing to be carried out in the future with a bequest.  More Info
  • You can volunteer
    There will always be projects and maintenance work to do on the church and churchyard. Keep an eye the websites for any forthcoming events.





2nd June Stoolball

The Friends will again be organising the refreshments for the Stoolball tournament on Nepcote Green during the afternoon of Sunday 2nd June. Volunteers to help will be required. If you are interested, please phone Gerald on 872563



4th October Golf Day
